Adopted panda

The Rainbow Centre has adopted this beatiful panda with WWF. Her name is Zhu Xiong (pronounced Ju-Shong). She lives in the remote Minshan mountains of southern China. Zhu Xiong is one of just 1,600 giant pandas remaining in the wild. Giant pandas were once widespread in southern and eastern China but today they are confined to small isolated populations living in forests scattered across six mountain ranges in south-west China.

If you would like to provide help to an animal in great danger of extinction click here.

We will keep you updated on how our animal is progressing.
